And Everyone had a Ball!
Hairdresser's Disco Ball & Fantasy Hair Show (2013)
Hudson Valley Hub donated custom content services to Hudson Valley Community Services (HVCS) at the 3rd Annual Hairdresser's Disco Ball & Fantasy Hair held at Villa Borghese on Sunday 8/18.
HVCS formerly known as ARCS' mission is to promote prevention and wellness for all people, to encourage life-affirming decisions maximizing their quality of life, and to coordinate care for those living with complex health conditions. It was founded in 1983 by a small group of lesbian and gay citizens who refused to stand idly by in the face of government inaction as this disease devastated those they loved. Since then, the agency has grown to service the needs of over 3,000 community members annually through our locations in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties. We have nearly three decades of experience in providing services and support for people living with HIV/AIDS.

In 2011, ARCS underwent a strategic planning process and modified our corporate name to Hudson Valley Community Services, Inc. ARCS is a certified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

A professional and caring staff provides quality case management, client advocacy, emergency assistance, education, outreach, and prevention for adults, children, and families, as well as the general community. We believe in building partnerships with clients to guide them, and give them the information they need to make informed decisions for themselves.

ARCS is a stabilizing presence for Hudson Valley residents and their families facing crisis and hardship. We envision a world where people live healthy lives and have access to the coordinated care they need.
We would like to extend a special thanks to all of the Salons/Spas who chose to have Hudson Valley Hub promote themselves in such a positive light, doing such great work to improve their community at this year's Hairdresser's Disco Ball & Fantasy Hair Show.
From backstage to the runway you have all put in so much effort and creativity, and we are proud to showcase your talents and support for Hudson Valley Community Services. It was our pleasure to be able work with each of you aside from the content we are donating to HVCS, and we look forward to working with you in the future.
